Invasion

Originally, I was inspired by the movie Independence Day. I love this one moment. When Tiffany (wearing these fabulous hoops) is on the rooftop, with her 'Welcome Aliens' sign, and she realizes, she's fried. It's such a little, fun, moment in a movie that I was so scared of as a kid. Since then I have come to love cult classics like Earth Girls Are Easy and Coneheads. I was inspired by the funky bold colors and also fluidity. This collection has both campy themes and bohemian silhouettes. I also wanted there to be an element of functionality in how the clothing can be used. So, I designed reversible, multiple way clothing that can be worn by all genders. These versatile pieces, are made for those who would be on the rooftops, looking fabulous, welcoming the aliens.
